We will have our first Couples' Fun Night of the Season on June 7 at Champion. We will have a brief meeting at 3:30 to organize the group for the season and will then start golfing at 4:00 with a potluck afterwards unless the virus prevents that........... The game for the first night will be a two-man scramble with the clubhouse randomly selecting three holes to throw out while the group is out golfing (the scores for the holes that are thrown out will not be counted). Costs will be $4.00 per couple for the game and greens fees for non-members will be $23 per person for 9 holes with cart ($46 per couple). Please sign-up up by June 6th if you plan on joining us on the 7th. A sign-up sheet is available at Champion's counter. When signing-up, please indicate what type of dish you plan on bringing to the potluck (main dish, salad, or dessert). You can buy pop at the clubhouse or bring a beverage of your choice to the potluck. Also, please bring your own plates and silverware.
For those of you who are not familiar with Couples' Night, it is an informal league that plays on Sundays. This year we will be playing every Sunday. Golfers of all abilities are encouraged to participate. Participants are not required to come each Sunday; instead you can sign-up for the weeks that you can come. Sign-up sheets will be available 7-10 days prior to each Couples' Night and will be at the clubhouse the Couples' Night is scheduled to play at. You can also sign-up by sending me an email to email@example.com. Please sign-up at least 48 hours prior to each Couples' Night. The schedule for this year's Couples' Night is below:
